I'm forwarding an email from my son Natan's current high school showing his remarkable  Hebrew reading skills that far exceed his peers who attended traditional school. 

I hope you can shep some nachas with us and the entire JOS family. Natan attended JOS for his entire grade school and middle school years - 8 years as a JOS student. 

I attribute these skills to his incredible Rabbaim at JOS: Rabbi Jacobs, Rabbi Yarmush, Rabbi Bressman and Rabbi Wilansky.

Adam LOVES school! I never imagined that it was possible to get kids so excited and engaged in remote learning through Zoom.
I was skeptical before starting JOS, because I felt remote learning would not manage to connect with my kid. I was concerned he would just sit bored and passive and not enjoy it.
But from day one, Morah Yehudis connected with Adam, and got him to sing, dance, talk, laugh, run around, and participate actively! In this short month he has already learned so much in English, Hebrew, and Jewish traditions and Mitzvot! 
I would like to give a huge ברכה to Yehudis, for her incredible energy and love in every single lesson.

My daughter has been learning slowly to read full Hebrew sentences and about the weekly Torah reading. She also loves participating in extracurricular activities, this Sunday she made her first Challah! You are already going above and beyond and I would like you to know how much we all appreciate this.

Again, I want to thank you and your amazing staff for all the wonderful work that you do (makes me wish I had this growing up!)

Vinnie absolutely LOVES school (for the first time ever.) She wakes up extra early to prepare. She loves her teachers and enjoys the girls. She is learning a lot too.

Living so far apart from family and in an area with a small Jewish community, I am so appreciative that she is able to get such a supportive Jewish family in school and a proper Jewish education.
